"The Ups and Downs of Stewarding Ohio/Florida Snowbird Donors"
Presenter: Charles A. Kerwood III, CFP®, ChFC®, AEP®
Waller Financial Planning Group, Inc.
Explore the complex emotional landscapes of donors in two critical, yet distinct, philanthropic hubs: Florida and Ohio. This session explores the unique cultural, economic, and regional factors that drive charitable giving in the Sunshine and Buckeye states. Participants will analyze donor motivations, preferred causes, and communication preferences specific to each region. We will also address the growing trend of "snowbird" donors who split their time between both states, offering actionable insights to inform tailored cultivation strategies designed to resonate with the unique values of both Buckeye and Sunshine State philanthropists.
